Andre d Ypres, St .Dennis ca.1449/53, who allegedly finished a Sermon in this condition
After his head was chopped off, Denis is said to have picked it up and walked ten kilometres (six miles) from the summit of The Martyrs’ Mountain, preaching a sermon the entire way, making him one of many cephalophores in hagiology.
